A Romantic Retreat, like staying with friends in the county
Langi-Dorn is a Georgian style home set on 3.5 acres and is nestled in the beautiful bushland setting of the Lower Blue Mountains with spectacular views over Richmond and Windsor and is approximately 80 kilometres North West of Sydney on the rural side of the Blue Mountains at Kurrajong, on the famous Bellbird Hill amongst the Bellbirds. Close by are the historic towns of Windsor and Richmond.
We have two luxury private suites and can provide accommodation for up to eight people.
Essington Suite
Luxurious Queen suite with spacious bedroom, ensuite and lounge room with open fire. French doors open onto a wide verandah.
Lancaster Suite
Cosy air-conditioned two bedroom suite, bathroom with old-fashioned claw bath and your own lounge room. The Lancaster suite is suitable for a getaway with friends.
Both suites offer private accommodation with their own entrance and have electric blankets, feather quilts, hair dryers, tea-making facilities, refrigerator, television and VCR.

Langi-Dorn was planned in 1988. The land was impenetrable with lantana and bamboo that had, over the years, taken over the whole property. After a few years of hand clearing we were able to design a house to suit the landscape and to gain the best of the spectacular views of the surrounding area and the townships of Richmond, Windsor and on to Sydney.
On entering the property you will pass through a spectacular tunnel cut through the grove of giant bamboo. Before proceeding to the house, pause a while and listen to the bountiful bird life.
