Bellbird Cottage & Swallows Homestead
Lewis Lane, Mount View Road Millfield NSW 2325

Just two hours' drive from Sydney is our 120 rural acres on the slopes of the Hunter Valley's Brokenback Range just off Mt View Road.
With mountain, valley and forest views from every window, Bellbird Cottage and its companions form a perfect rustic retreat, ideal for couples, or for larger groups of up to 20.
Each of these lovely old weatherboard buildings (c1917-1941) has been lovingly restored, sensitively modernised and carefully situated to ensure maximum comfort and privacy.
Situated overlooking the historic Wollombi valley and within pip-spit of Mt View's boutique wineries; just 15 minutes but a world away from the busy resorts, vineyards and wineries of the Pokolbin area. The region's must-see, must-do destinations are easily accessible, they include golf, horseriding, fishing, hot air ballooning, skydiving, antique hunting, serious eating and drinking, and bushwalking in the local National Parks and state forests.
And because we know how much people love the place, we offer a late-late checkout on Sunday.

Bellbird Cottage
A cosy two bedroom cottage nestled on the side of the hill, taking in the stunning valley views. It features two bedrooms and a comfortable sofa bed in the sitting room. The kitchen is fully equipped complete with microwave, full size cooktop and oven, or you can barbeque outside overlooking the dam. Bellbird is comfortable in all the Hunter's dramatic seasons: there is reverse cycle airconditioning and deep shady verandahs for summer snoozing, while a wood burning fire makes winter weekends a delight.
Swallows Cottage
Sitting on the hilltop, Swallows is a rambling four bedroom house. With its comfortable sitting room and large dining room, Swallows is ideal for groups or families of 8 or more! Swallows has all the facilities you would expect in a country homestead including reverse cycle airconditioning, a fully equipped kitchen and even its own billiard table.
